1.  SHIPPING & DELIVERIES
Orders received before 0900 hours will be sent out from Monday to Friday for local and overseas deliveries.

2. LOCAL DELIVERY

2.1 We aim to deliver the Product to you at the place of delivery requested by you in your Order and the delivery time indicated by us at the time of your order checkout (as updated in the Order Confirmation).

2.2 We shall notify you if we expect to be unable to meet our estimated delivery date, but, to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.

2.3 Upon delivery of the Product, you may be required to sign for delivery. You may contact CUSTOMER SERVICE in case of any faults, defects or damage. You may be required to provide the documents delivered with the Product, upon request.

2.4 Local delivery service is available for eligible residential and office addresses within Singapore, except hotels and such other locations with restricted access. The estimated delivery time taken is 5 business days. (excluding the order day) Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations in which event, we will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your Order and arrange for cancellation of the Order or delivery to an alternative delivery address. you may be charged a re-delivery fee at the prevailing rate for each additional delivery trip.

2.5 We deliver in our standard packaging. Gift wrapping service is available upon request and is subjected to additional charges.

2.6 All risk in the Product shall pass to you upon delivery, except that, where delivery is delayed due to a breach of your obligations under a Contract (for e.g. see 2.8 below), risk shall pass at the date when delivery would have occurred would it not have been for your breach. From the time when risk passes to you, we will not be liable for loss or destruction of the Product. Any breach of obligations by you, might impact your ability to shop on UMBRELLA in the future.

2.7 You are responsible for ensuring that a recipient is present to receive the delivery and to sign on the delivery note during the specified time slot. If you are not available to take delivery or collection, we may leave a card giving you instructions on either re-delivery or collection from the carrier. You may be charged redelivery fee at the prevailing rate for each additional delivery trip.

Any changes in delivery details after the delivery has been made or attempted, there will be a re-delivery fee or reschedule fee (if any) at the prevailing rate imposed on you by the courier services.

2.8 If delivery or collection is delayed through your unreasonable refusal to accept delivery or if you do not (within two weeks of our first attempt to deliver the Product to you) accept delivery or collect the Product from the carrier, we may (without affecting any other right or remedy available to us) do either or both of the following:

(a) charge you for any fee and other costs reasonably incurred by us; or

(b) no longer make the Product available for delivery or collection and notify you that we are immediately cancelling the applicable Contract, in which case we will refund to you or your credit or debit card company as applicable any money already paid to us under the Contract, less our reasonable administration and service fees/charges (including for attempting to deliver and then returning the Product, and any storage fees as provided for in clause 2.8 (a) above).

You acknowledge that the Products are standard and not made bespoke to fit any particular requirements that you may have.

2.9 Delivery charges:

Free shipping is only for Singapore based orders and on order above $30.00 on net of merchandise price per delivery per order before GST.

(d)   Redelivery / Reschedule

     (i)  Fail to pickup parcel at assigned time / date

          (a) courier service will redelivery / reschedule, subjected to additional charges (if any) by the courier services

          (b) additional delivery charges apply + service fee of $2.00 or 5%, whichever is higher.

     (ii)  Item not deliver return back to UMBRELLA

          (a) delivery charges as charged by courier services apply + service fee of $2.00 or 5%, whichever is higher.

Delivery is approximately 5 business days after payment received (Excluding order day) 

(e)   Customers shall bear all additional delivery fees & duties and relevant government taxes. Please contact us at contact@umbrella.sg for any questions. 

(f)   You may track your parcel with the tracking number attached in the shipment email sent to you.

*For residential addresses, packages are usually delivered Mon–Fri. For Office addresses, packages are usually delivered between Mon–Fri day time. You may request for a time-slot; however, it is not possible for the courier to commit to a specific delivery time. 

Once the package has been shipped out, change of delivery address is not allowed.

3. OVERSEAS DELIVERY

3.1   Dispatch times may vary according to availability. Products to be delivered outside Singapore will be delivered by courier by UMBRELLA’s designated logistics partner. Tracking reference number will be sent to you by email upon dispatch.

3.2   The estimated delivery time taken is between 7-14 business days after payment received (excluding order day and excluding Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday of Singapore and the receiving country) and from the date of dispatch, and is subject to delay due to unforeseen circumstances. UMBRELLA reserves the right to reschedule the time and/or date of delivery and will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery time and/or date. However this estimated timeframe does not include customs delays.

3.3   Customers will bear all shipping duties and relevant government taxes.  

3.4   Do note that if you are residing in a remote location, additional charges for Shipping may apply. If and when additional charges are needed, our staff will inform you.

3.5   All overseas deliveries will be subject to the terms and conditions of delivery of UMBRELLA’s designated logistics partner. UMBRELLA’s designated logistics partner may impose charges for any attempts of redelivery.

3.6   Overseas delivery service is available for the countries listed. Please note that overseas delivery service may be unavailable for certain products.

3.7   Overseas Shipping Charges, You may check your oversea shipping charges at: http://www.speedpost.com.sg

3.8   Redelivery / Reschedule

     (a)  Fail to pickup parcel at assigned time / date

           (i) courier service will redelivery / reschedule, subjected to additional charges (if any) by the courier services

           (ii) additional delivery charges apply + service fee of $2.00 or 5%, whichever is higher.

     (b)  Item not deliver return back to UMBRELLA

3.10You may track your parcel with the tracking number attached in the shipment email sent to you.

4. CHANGES IN ORDER & SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS

4.1   Change in Shipping arrangements may cause a delay in your order delivery.

4.2   For Local deliveries, a change in address may delay your delivery by approximately 1-2 days.

4.3   For Overseas orders, the delay may take longer than 1-2 days. 

4.4   Customers to bear all additional shipping fees & duties and relevant government taxes. 

4.5   Conditions of Amendment:

     (a)   Must be within 24 hours from payment received.

     (b)   The item ordered is not dispatched out from the warehouse

     (c)   No charge if there is no change in price.

     (d)   All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

     (e)   To topup through payment gateway accordingly.

     (f)    To refund additional, refund amount less service fee of $2.00 or 5%, whichever is higher.

5. PACKAGING CHARGES & PACKAGING MATERIAL COST

5.1  Packaging Charges

     (a)   Gift Wrapping Service        Not available

     (b)   Packaging Service             $2.00 to $10.00

5.2  Packaging Material Cost

     (a)   Buyer to pay

     (b)   No refund during returns not to buy

     (c)   Only outgoing items from the portal there will be packaging material incurred.

     (d)   Incoming items to the portal may / may not have packaging material incurred.

     (e)   Minimum @ $2.00 / carton / envelope or 5% whichever is higher
